“Here we are . . . I’m 15 years old, my cousin is 14, and we’re here at a truck stop you know being forced to work it . . . being forced to go from truck to truck, asking if the guy would like to have sex with us. . . And we’re young girls, terrified out of our minds.”
- Shari, a survivor of human trafficking from Toledo, Ohio
In association with Alliance for Freedom, Restoration and Justice, please join us for the presentation of two short documentaries: Orphan’s Journey and the regional premier of Continuum.
Orphan’s Journey is the story of five teenage orphans who come face to face with human trafficking as they graduate out of orphanages and move out into the world.
Continuumtells the stories of nine child advocates and three survivors of child sex trafficking in the United States.
The films will be followed by a reception after a talkback with Brad Riley, founder of iEmpathize and the Director and producer of the films; Simon Scionka, the films’ cinematographer; and Ashley Chapman, founder of Engage Together.
