Ellen Pittleman Partner, TalkingFlix Head of Content at Crossway Media Solutions. Veteran film studio executive and entertainment strategist Ellen Pittleman launched media consulting and production company Hybrid Entertainment in June 2008 after various roles in her 10+ years with Paramount Pictures. Hybrid clients have included the NZ Film Commission, Japanese Sega Corporation’s animation division Marza, Italian producer Rainbow’s Winx Club and worldwide distribution strategies for narrative feature releases of Flying Lessons, A Good Funeral and Sundance World Documentary Competition title An African Election. Hybrid continues to forge new distribution models for emerging production companies and producers.

As Paramount Pictures International Senior Vice President, International Co-Productions and Worldwide Acquisitions, Pittleman began the studio’s expansion in to international co-production of local language theatrical films. Working closely with Paramount’s local managing directors to identify and produce theatrical films that could access territorial subsidies and incentives while collaborating with major television broadcasters in each territory to create those films that would appeal to domestic audiences, these films recouped solely from their local distribution. International production of features she managed included countries as diverse as Brazil, China and Australia to western European territories like the UK, France and Germany.
