The 1920s were years of tremendous energy and imagination in the arts, and this program will present a mix of abstract, dadaist and futurist short films, followed by the feature-length “city symphony” The Man with a Movie Camera, a triumph of visual design.

Preceded by the following short films:
Hans Richter’s Rhythmus 21 (1921) and Ghosts Before Breakfast (1928)
Fernand Leger’s Ballet Mecanique (1924)
Viking Eggeling’s Symphonie Diagonale (1924)
