Join the Denver Film Society and the Colorado Ballet for a special Valentine’s Day weekend showing of the cinematic classic La Belle et la Bête, Friday February 12th at 7pm.
The film is a landmark feat of cinematic fantasy in which master filmmaker Jean Cocteau conjures spectacular visions of enchantment, desire, and death that have never been equaled. Following the film, Colorado Public Radio film critic Howie Movshovitz and Gil Boggs, Artistic Director of the Colorado Ballet, will lead a post-film discussion contrasting choreography of the film with the upcoming February 2010 Colorado Ballet production.Reception to follow.
