Digital Presentation - Jean lives a simple life and is happily married to Anne-Marie. Everything changes when his son’s schoolteacher, Mademoiselle Chambon asks him to make a presentation about his job to the class. She is unlike anyone he has met before. A manual worker who builds houses, Jean is deeply moved by her elegance, her love of classical music and her discreet ways. They fall madly in love with each other but try to control their feelings. Their mutual attraction develops in silence, manifesting itself in subtle ways and yet growing stronger, affecting Jean’s work and, eventually, his relationship with his family.
The Closing Night reception will PRECEDE the screening of Mademoiselle Chambon and take place at Brasserie Felix from 3:30pm to 5:30pm. Hors d'oeuvres will be served along with a cash bar. All through the month of June, Brasserie Felix will have a J'Adore festival special - a three course meal plus a glass of wine for only $19.99!
