35mm presentation - Set against the spectacle of modern world power, the riveting political thriller The Ides of March is an intense tale of sex, ambition, loyalty, betrayal and revenge. The film takes place during the frantic last days before a heavily contested Ohio presidential primary, when an up-and-coming campaign press secretary (Ryan Gosling of Drive and Blue Valentine) falls prey to backroom politics, the treacherous manipulations of veteran operatives and seduction by a young intern. The resulting political scandal threatens to upend his candidate's shot at the presidency. All-star cast includes director/co-writer George Clooney, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Paul Giamatti, Marisa Tomei, Jeffrey Wright, Evan Rachel Wood and Max Minghella.
