Young Filmmakers Workshop Masters Class II 2012

480 Minute Running Time

The Master Blaster workshop is for teens who have completed the Master Class and are looking for a deeper experience. It will feature 2-3 days of Master instruction from film professionals in five distinct study areas- Directing, Screenwriting, Art Direction/Cinematography, Acting and Editing. The students will then spend the duration of the week-long workshop working on film exercises and a final portfolio piece. This will allow teens who are going on to film school to begin to explore their specialties and make choices about their paths.

Scott Kinnamon is a Denver-based filmmaker/educator and co-founder of the Young Filmmakers Workshop. He is also the owner of SKEWmedia, a film/video production company. Scott believes in the power of story in human lives and believe filmmaking to be the most powerful storytelling tool ever created. In January, the Denver Post named him a 2011 Pathmaker of the Year for his work in film and education.
