Denver District Attorney Mitchell R. Morrissey joins Cinema Salon curator and moderator Robert Denerstein for a look at some of the movies that have done a good job representing the legal profession and a few that deserve to be held in contempt. This edition of the Salon offers a rare opportunity to examine legal dramas through the eyes of a widely respected DA who has held office since 2005. Mr. Morrissey is responsible for the prosecution of more than 6,000 felony cases per year, has built a national reputation in DNA technology, leads an award-winning team of Victim Advocates and supervises 77 attorneys and some 127 staffers . This edition of the Cinema Salon program -- in its new Sunday time slot -- will provide valuable insight into the way we form our impressions about lawyers in a society in which drama after big-screen drama seems to find its fullest expression in a courtroom.
