35mm presentation - Denver's own Mile High Cinema and the Alamo Drafthouse Aspen Grove present a night of giving and cannibalism with an exclusive one-night only screening of the 1999 darkly comedic horror film RAVENOUS, directed by Antonia Bird and starring Guy Pearce, Robert Carlyle, and Jeffrey Jones. Featuring a stunning score by composer Michael Nyman and musician Damon Albarn of Blur and Gorillaz, RAVENOUS is an often overlooked film featuring an amazing cast, thought-provoking themes, and, of course, plenty of blood.
In honor of the holiday season, we are holding a canned food drive to benefit the Food Bank of the Rockies. Bring canned goods or other non-perishable food items to be entered in a raffle to win a variety of goodies, from DVDs to pint glasses to t-shirts. Each item will net you one raffle ticket, with the drawing taking place shortly before the movie begins.
