The famous Horatio, Lord Nelson, the admiral who defeated Napoleon, had a long-time affair with Emma, Lady Hamilton. Here, played by the real-life couple of Laurence Olivier and Vivien Leigh, the love story is full of dash and passion. It’s filmed beautifully by Rudolph Maté, and backed by a spectacularly good crew – including composer Miklos Rosza and production designer Vincent Korda.
