Young Filmmakers Workshop Masters I Class 2013

480 Minute Running Time

What:
For seasoned filmmakers looking for more in-depth instruction. You’ll start with film clips and
lessons, and then you’ll hear from experts in the field like Academy Award-winning directors
Daniel Junge and Donna Dewey or NPR film critic Howie Movshovitz.

When & Where:
July 15-26, 9:00am-3:00pm on weekdays
Held at Denver School of the Arts (7111 E. Montview Boulevard, Denver, CO 80220)

Cost:
Tuition for the Masters I Workshop is $800, OR enroll before May 3rd to
receive a 10% discount ($720 tuition). There is also a $200 discount if you enroll in 2 or more workshops.

Reflecting our mission of bringing film to diverse communities, Denver Film Society offers full-tuition or partial-tuition scholarships for deserving youth with significant financial need to attend the Young Filmmakers Workshops. Join us at our year-round home, the SIE FilmCenter (2510 East Colfax), to meet Master Instructor Scott Kinnamon, chat with previous students, watch student films, and get your questions answered. We’ll provide some complimentary burritos, sodas, and plenty of popcorn. You can also join us for a free film screening during our 7pm hour showtimes.

Parking is free in the structure located above the theater (corner of Colfax & Columbine). The FilmCenter is also easily accessible by RTD if you take the 15 to York St. and walk East two blocks.
