Young Filmmakers Workshops 2013
The Denver Film Society’s Young Filmmakers Workshops are leading filmmaking camps for teens, ages 12-18. In the workshops participants have opportunities to learn the art of filmmaking, refine their work with film industry professionals, collaborate with other young filmmakers, and exhibit their films in public premieres.

Join us at our year-round home, the SIE FilmCenter (2510 East Colfax), to meet Master Instructor Scott Kinnamon, chat with previous students, watch student films, and get your questions answered. We’ll provide some complimentary burritos, sodas, and plenty of popcorn. You can also join us for a free film screening during our 7pm hour showtimes.
Parking is free in the structure located above the theater (corner of Colfax & Columbine). The FilmCenter is also easily accessible by RTD if you take the 15 to York St. and walk East two blocks.
Costs:
Tuition for summer workshops is $800 per course, OR enroll before May 3rd to
receive a 10% discount ($720 tuition per workshop). There is also an additional $200 discount if you enroll in 2 or more workshops.
Tuition for the Starz Denver Film Festival Workshop is $500, or $350 if you register
for it by May 3rd and have also paid for a separate summer workshop.

Reflecting our mission of bringing film to diverse communities, Denver Film Society offers full-tuition or partial-tuition scholarships for deserving youth with significant financial need to attend the Young Filmmakers Workshops.
