Batman (1943 Serial)

USA, 1943, 60 Minute Running Time

FREE! Wednesday, July 23rd at 7:30pm.

In recognition of Batman’s 75th anniversary, DC Comics has declared Wednesday, July 23rd "Batman Day". Celebrate by watching 4 episodes of the original 1943 Batman serial.

The serial introduced many elements that would later become permanent parts of the Batman mythology, such as the "Bat's Cave" and a re-imagining of Alfred Pennyworth.

Japanese spymaster Prince Daka operates a covert espionage organization located in Gotham City's now-deserted Little Tokyo which turns American scientists into pliable zombies.

This screening is FREE but seating is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis. Please arrive early to ensure a seat.

We'll also be raffling off a box set of The Dark Knight trilogy on bluray!
