Italian food is prepared with care and passion and culinary imagery plays a prominent place in Italian films.
This four-session education program on Italian Cinema and Food, paired with Italian food (and wine?), offers participants much “Food for thought” to chew on as they partake in the viewing and discussion of images from classic Italian cinema and a recent feature-length film.
With discussions led by Roberta K. Waldbaum, Ph.D
Professor Waldbaum teaches Italian language, literature, culture and film in the Department of Languages & Literatures at the University of Denver where she holds the Anna Maglione-Sie Endowed Professorship in Italian Culture.
