Close Encounters of the Animated Kind is the Denver Film Society’s newest four-day festival celebrating contemporary animated film from across the globe. New work from eight different countries feature a diverse range of cinematic styles and themes, from stop-motion to anime, live-action-animation-hybrids and packages of Oscar-winning shorts.
