The RSC Shorts Fest, happening every May, aims to build a community seeking new and innovative storytelling with stimulating social events. The short film format allows greater freedom for fresh voices to share their creativity, aligning with the RSC mission. With music videos, narratives, documentaries, animation, and genre films, the RSC Shorts Fest is art abbreviated.

2018 RSC Shorts Fest Program

All Access Pass

The All-Access Pass also includes admission to the pass holder-only kickoff event on Thursday, May 17th at the brand new Ramble Hotel. We will have free drinks and an advanced screening of the Music Video Mixtape package.

RSC Shorts Opening Night

Friday, May 18th, 7:00pm. Aly Migliori, director of After Her in person!
Genre and classic television spoofs. SciFi animation and mysteries. Slice-of-life and high concept documentaries. The Opening Night program kicks off the RSC Shorts Fest with a little something for everyone.

Music Video Mix Tape

Friday, May 18th, 9:30pm. Directors Joseph Kolean and Zach Gutierrez of Radiator Hospital - Cheap Day in attendance.
Special advance screening on Thursday, May 17th, 7:00pm at the Ramble Hotel for All-Access Pass holders only!

RSC Shorts Fest Afternoon

Saturday, May 19th, 4:30pm. Director Frank Mosley and producer Lauren McCune of Parthenon will be in attendance
Tales of connections fill out the afternoon program. Connections to our lost loved ones, our beloved pets, places where we live, even our own bodies create our collective experiences.

RSC Shorts Fest Late Night

Saturday, May 19th, 9:30pm
Not for the faint of heart, the Late Night program services those who want to look into the darker corners of the short form. It's not all scary, but all will hopefully get under your skin.

Closing Night

Saturday, May 19th, 7:00pm
The Closing Night package explores some puzzling subjects: adolescent love (and even alien love), imaginary worlds, backstabbing friends and somber historical monuments. This eclectic group of shorts will shed some light and illuminate the mind.
