Summer Scream set for August 20 at historic Lakeside Amusement Park

DENVER – Denver Film announced today that it will host its annual Summer Scream fundraiser, Aug. 20 from 6 – 11 p.m. at the historic Lakeside Amusement Park, 4601 Sheridan Blvd. Individual tickets for the age 21-plus, end-of-summer event are $75 and are available at denverfilm.org. Available day-of-event tickets are $85 at the door.

In addition to unlimited rides and open bars, Summer Scream will celebrate its 14th anniversary with activations throughout the park. Fully embracing all that the historic Lakeside Amusement Park has to offer, Summer Scream delivers a night under the neon lights with unique experiences, DJs, and unlimited thrills. Attendees are encouraged to dress up as their favorite movie characters.

“Summer Scream is unlike any other event in Denver because it transforms an iconic amusement park into a celebration of film, creativity, and community,” said Denver Film Events Manager, Esther Lopez. “Our guests enjoy unlimited rides, open bars, incredible entertainment, and the nostalgic charm of Lakeside Amusement Park while helping ensure Denver Film can continue connecting our community through the power of film.”

Summer Scream is the only private, cultural event to take over Denver’s iconic Lakeside Amusement Park – all in support of Denver Film’s year-round programming and events.
