Roominating explores the grieving process of Blake, a young woman who is exceedingly sentimental about her late mother’s belongings. Her connection to these physical objects results in an evening of distress when she is forced to take care of the remaining items in her storage unit. She is quickly disoriented by the seemingly endless halls full of uniform units. Inspired by Charlie Kaufman’s surreal storytelling, Blake is thrust into different units that transport her to a distorted memory of her birthday. Along this dreamlike journey, she is forced to confront her fear of letting go.
