Missing In Brooks County

Two families search for their loved ones who went missing in the vast ranch lands of Brooks County, Texas, the site of more migrant deaths than anywhere else in the country. On their journey, they meet vigilante ranchers, humanitarian activists, Border Patrol search and rescue teams, and others locked in a proxy version of the national immigration debate.

Two women coincide in a hospital room where they are going to give birth. Both are single and became pregnant by accident. Janis (Penélope Cruz), middle-aged, is exultant. Ana (Milena Smit), an adolescent, is scared, repentant and traumatized. The few words they exchange in these hours will create a very close link between the two, which by chance develops and complicates, and changes their lives in a decisive way.

Soy Cubana

Luzmila and Peta are two sisters who come from a modest environment and work as housemaids for Alicia and Carmen, two aristocratic ladies of Peru. They are almost considered a part of the families or, at least, that’s what it seems… But one day, as the city is taken over by violent protests, a long-held secret involving both households is suddenly revealed, blowing up the bubble of their perfect aristocratic world forever.

The Dog Who Wouldn't Be Quiet

Sebastian is an ordinary man in his thirties devoted to his loyal dog and working in a slew of temporary jobs. As he moves fitfully through adulthood, he navigates love, loss and fatherhood — until the world is rocked by a sudden catastrophe, upending his already turbulent life. Photographed in stark black-and-white imagery, and awash in ruminative metaphor, writer-director Ana Katz captures Sebastian’s midlife coming of age in slices of life both specific and universal as he struggles to adjust to a world that is perpetually changing — and might be nearing its end.

The Other Tom

Tom is diagnosed with ADHD and given psychiatric medication, but a strange accident alerts his mother, Elena, as to their side effects. When she refuses to continue administering him the drugs, Social Services will threaten to take Tom from her.

The Pink Cloud

A mysterious and deadly pink cloud appears in the skies, spreading dramatically across the world, forcing everyone to stay at home. Giovana is confined in an apartment with Yago, a man she met at a party the night before. While waiting for the cloud to pass, the two must invent themselves as a couple. Over the years, while Yago is living his own utopia, Giovana feels trapped deep inside.

The Siamese Bond

Mother and daughter, Clota and Stella, live together confined in an inbred routine. One day, Stella receives an inheritance and decides to set out on a trip to discover that miracle which appears as the last possibility to become independent. Clota perceives it as a surgical separation.
