For the first time ever the Denver Film Festival will host drive-in screenings at the iconic Red Rocks Park & Amphitheatre. We have three official festival selections for you to enjoy under the stars.
**All-Access festival passes do not apply to the drive-in screenings.
While we’re excited to pivot to a virtual experience for the majority of this year’s Festival, and to reach new audiences through that opportunity, we are grateful to our film industry partners, the City of Denver, and of course, our amazing audiences to be able to deliver three unique film experiences.
The DFF at Red Rocks drive-in is located in the Lower South Lot 2, which can be accessed through Entrance #2. Staff will be onsite to direct you once you arrive.
Shows may be delayed or canceled due to inclement weather (e.g. severe thunderstorms, blizzards). Our team is continuously watching the weather and will decide day-of whether it is safe to hold screenings. All ticket holders will be contacted via email in the event of a cancelation. We will also have staff on site to communicate any cancelation. We will do our best to reschedule any canceled shows.
The venue will open 90 minutes before the listed show time. It is recommended to arrive at least 30 minutes before the gate time found on your ticket. Parking spots will be assigned on a first come, first served basis.
Ticket scanning will be contactless. Onsite staff will scan the QR code located in your Denver Film Eventive account. If you are having trouble accessing the QR code, please contact Box Office prior to the show at boxoffice@denverfilm.org.
Vehicles will be guided to parking spots by event staff and may be directed to certain areas of the lot based on the vehicle’s size to ensure an optimal viewing experience for all guests. Vehicles will be spaced every other parking spot, or at least six feet apart.
Oversized and unenclosed vehicles are prohibited. Prohibited vehicles include, but not limited to: large vans, buses, limousines, mopeds, motorcycles, RVs, scooters. Please contact Box Office if you are unsure your vehicle will be permitted. boxoffice@denverfilm.org
Yes. Temporary restroom facilities will be available onsite, although it is encouraged to use the restroom before arriving. All onsite restrooms will undergo enhanced cleanings before, during and after each event. All guests are expected to practice social distancing while waiting in line for the restrooms.
All guests must stay inside their vehicle during the event, except to use the restrooms or purchase concessions. Masks are required any time you are outside your vehicle. When outside your vehicle, please be respectful of others’ space.
All films are broadcast on an FM radio frequency and can be heard in your vehicle. The specific FM channel to tune to will be listed on the screen during the pre-show. If your vehicle is not equipped with a radio, it is recommended to bring a portable one, as the temporary frequency cannot be streamed online.
