Final Descent

Final Descent is a short story that reveals the promise of the human spirit, even when the end is eminent for the ones we love, we are still capable of magical and wondrous things. For Aaron Garrett, surviving his father’s scorn growing up was extremely difficult, but was still able to push himself to be the best downhill racer in the county, only to have his joy ripped away due to the death of his honorary coach and younger brother, Danny, due to Cystic Fibrosis.

The production team on Final descent is teaming with years of experience, and all from Colorado.  Starting with Rick Ramage, writer, director and producer with numerous credits on major motion pictures and television shows. During his 25 year career as a screenwriter, he has set up or sold over 40 scripts in Hollywood.

Travis Milloy has been in the film industry since the early 1990’s and has extensive experience with stunt work, set dressing, writing, producing, directing. Travis is a writer, director and producer with over ten films to his credit.  Travis owns and operates Latest Trick Productions.

Kent Harvey started his career back in 1994 with the block buster film Dumb and Dumber: 1994.  Kent has spent a lot of time back country skiing while working on nine of Warren Miller films and has experience climbing and filming on six of the famed “Seven Summits” including summiting Mt. Everest twice (2009/2012).

Bob King was instrumental in the accuracy of someone struggling and succumbing to Cystic Fibrosis in the screenplay Final Descent, as his daughter Layla passed away from the disease.  Bob has worked on over one hundred films and television shows in his career.

Matt Shoulders brings over thirty years of experience in the ski racing industry from race day operations and has served as Jury Member and chief of course for both the Men’s and Women’s Downhill and Super-G at the USSA National Alpine Ski Championships, and the Men’s World Pro Ski Championships.
