HOW TO FEST

OCTOBER 22 – NOVEMBER 8, 2020_

This year’s Denver Film Festival will be entirely virtual, which means you can now take the best of the Fest home with you!

That means new, carefully selected films from around the world, exclusive filmmaker conversations, and bonus content. All from the best seat in the house. You will have a few different ways to experience the Festival, so we want to give you an opportunity to get ready for all the new and exciting changes.

Below you will find helpful tips to ensure you are ready to watch when the Festival arrives.

How do I watch on my TV?

Once you buy a pass and create your account on the Virtual Fest Hub, it’s time to connect your TV. Here are three easy options.⬇

Learn How To Download the Roku TV App

Get the Denver Film TV App for Roku TV devices that makes streaming movies simple as pie.

Note: You must own the Roku Streaming Stick or a Roku Smart TV to use this app. This is not an app for your smart phone, tablet, or computer.

Learn How To Download the AppleTV App

The Apple TV Denver Film  App made allows you to watch festival films with ease.

Note: You must own the Apple TV device to use this app. This is not an app for your smart phone, tablet, or computer.

Use “Cast” or “AirPlay”

Another option for viewing movies on your TV would be casting them from a phone or laptop.

For this option, you can use your smart phone or laptop to “Cast” (Google Chromecast) or “AirPlay” (Apple) films to your TV.
